I am the co-founder and Managing Director of Nova Spatium – a point cloud AI tech firm focusing on deep learning based semantic segmentation on point clouds, object extraction, and scan-to-map. I am also an Adjunct Professor of Department of Civil Engineering, Toronto Metropolitan University.
My research interests include LiDAR remote sensing and point cloud processing. My current research mainly focuses on improving data quality of multispectral airborne LiDAR and airborne LiDAR bathymetry (ALB) for land cover classification, semantic segmentation, removal of LiDAR data artifacts, AI-assisted point cloud labeling, object extraction from point clouds, scan-to-map, scan-to-BIM, and high-definition map.
