I am the co-founder and Managing Director of Nova Spatium – a point cloud AI tech firm focusing on deep learning based semantic segmentation and scan-to-BIM.

I am also an Adjunct Assistant Professor, Department of Land Surveying and Geo-Informatics, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and an Adjunct Professor of Department of Civil Engineering, Toronto Metropolitan University.

My research interests include LiDAR remote sensing and point cloud processing. My current research mainly focuses on improving data quality of multispectral airborne LiDAR and airborne LiDAR bathymetry (ALB) for land cover classification, semantic segmentation, removal of LiDAR data artifacts, object extraction from point clouds, and scan-to-BIM.
